2023: Minister seeks further engagement from APC leaders in Sokoto

Police Affairs Minister Alhaji Maigari Dingyadiasked for more commitment from the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Sokoto State.

2 Dingyadi who spoke on Sunday at the APC Stakeholders gathered in Sokoto, said the leadership’s dedication remains the priority for the party to achieve its deserved victory in the state and the country.

3 “As we all know in every association there is a need to establish a closer engagement with all members, as such, as leaders we must continue to extend the same massage to our party supporters.

4 “Furthermore, we must all come up with strategies to ensure the success of the APC in all positions in the 2023 general election,” he said.

5 He added that the meeting was convened on the recommendation of the Sokoto APC Elders Forum, to appreciate the leadership of the party in the 23 local government areas of the state.

6 “Our party leader, the senator. Aliyu Wamakkoand other stakeholders, appreciated the idea and thanked you all for your loyalty and standing with APC.

seven “Therefore, this meeting should present itself as a link of encouragement to all of us to ensure the success of our great party in the general election of 2023.

8 “As you know, the politics of today is not like that of yesterday, as such we appeal to all our leaders of the 23 LGAs to engage our many youth in this struggle,” he added.

9 In his remarks, Alhaji Ahmad Aliyuthe APC gubernatorial candidate in the state, thanked grassroots leaders for their continued support for the party.

ten Aliyu is committed to ensuring a benevolent government that will work with all people in the state, to attract more development for all people.

11 “I assure you that we will follow in the footsteps of our leader, Senator Wamakko, in securing more and more developments for our state,” he said.

12 He called on APC members in the state to support more information campaigns on APC’s good mission to improve the living standards of the society.

13 Also, Alhadji Abdullahi Tambari-Tafidathe President of the Elders Forum, thanked the LG stakeholders for their strong commitment in promoting APC in Sokoto.

14 Previously, APC President Alhaji Isa Sadiq-Achidarevealed that the meeting was to appreciate the party leaders at the LGAs and deliberate on the way forward ahead of the campaign period.
