International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
The University of Sheffield, UK will be offering 50 International Undergraduate Merit Scholarships this year.
Eligibility: The program is due to start at the University of Sheffield this fall. Applicants must receive an offer for a course studied in its entirety. All undergraduate courses are eligible except Medicine (A100 / A101) and Dentistry (A200). For tuition fee purposes, applicants must be self-funded and eligible to pay overseas tuition fees, and must not be a sponsored student. The Masters Union announces admissions for the second cohort of its flagship postgraduate program in Technology and Business Management (PGP TBM).
Duration: 16 months
Academics: Three to four years of bachelor’s or sub-degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.

Ashoka University launches YSP 2021
Ashoka University recently launched the Young Scholars Program (YSP) 2021, which introduces high school students to liberal arts and science education.
Duration: Five days, June 14-18.
Eligibility: Pupils of classes IX to XII. Applicants must complete an online form showing their high school grades, along with an essay. They must show intellectual curiosity and have the ability to explore ideas.

Shiv Nadar University calls for start-up pitches
The Atal Incubation Center of Shiv Nadar University of Delhi-NCR (AIC-SNU), supported by the Atal Innovation Mission of NITI Aayog (Government of India), has launched the fourth edition of its’ Venture Challenge ”, a closed-door competition for launching new technology -ups or aspiring entrepreneurs to gain AIC-SNU’s end-to-end support for the growth of their business ideas.
What this implies: AIC-SNU has partnered with Dassault Systèmes and HCL Technologies, as Technology / Knowledge Partners, to provide Venture Challenge winners with extensive support from the conceptual phase to the actualization of their business concepts.
Treat: The two partners will help the chosen start-ups take their ideas to the next level, provide technical support, market advice and access to their networks of key contacts for growth. In addition, the best start-ups that have breakthrough / disruptive innovation, collective intelligence or those who aim to have a positive impact on society will have the chance to participate in the global pitch of Dassault Systeme’s 3DEXPERIENCE Lab. After further selection, the winning start-ups will be accelerated by the company globally.

Culinary employability scholarship program
Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland (CAAS) recently launched the Culinary Employability Fellowship Program (CESP) which combines culinary education at CAAS with paid internships and training opportunities in the United States, in partnership with Yummy JobsTM.
Duration: 12 months
Eligibility: Students who register in July or October at the CAAS for a Swiss license, master or major diploma can apply for this scholarship for a maximum of 3600. – CHF.
Application: AAS and Yummy JobsTM will interview students applying to CESP. Once accepted and registered with CAAS, students will receive the scholarship.

Summer workshop with exclusive certificate course in robotics
Virtually recently launched a five-week summer workshop of six online courses designed with NEP 2020 in mind. The 15-hour Robotics course, designed in collaboration with Robotics Club IIT Guwahati, aims to train students to building a smart bulb that can be controlled using the Google voice assistant. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of participation from Robotics Club IIT Guwahati.
