Art and bites workshop offered on November 17

GLADWIN – The Gladwin Area Artists Guild is fortunate to have its very talented acrylic artist Cora Hartman leading this year’s annual painting workshop on Thursday, November 17 from 6-9 p.m. at Columbus Hall in Gladwin . Hartman, a native of Standish, designed a landscape painting that is suitable for beginner artists and those with more advanced skills, as it leaves room for painterly embellishments.

This popular workshop is limited in size and fills to capacity every year. Formerly called Art and Chocolate and timed to provide a little fun for “hunter widows,” the event now offers a more diverse, yet still hearty, buffet at an all-inclusive rate of $45 for non-members. And the entertainment value will appeal to anyone who wants to have a good time with friends without pressure while painting.

Registration and payment in advance are compulsory. Visit the Gladwin Area Artist Guild Facebook page to download your registration form or contact the Guild at: [email protected] to request that a form be emailed to you. If you are unable to print, request that the form be mailed to you.

If you have any questions before registering, use the same email address for answers from event chair Jan Berg-Rezmer. But do it today because it’s a creative opportunity you won’t want to miss.
