Members of Fountain Hills and surrounding communities are invited to join the Fountain Hills Community Foundation.
The membership drive is part of an ongoing effort to grow the community fund that serves youth, seniors, and families in local nonprofit cultural, humanitarian, and educational organizations.
“Our Board of Directors wanted to create a closer relationship with our donors,” said Chairman Dori Wittrig. “Members will be invited to vote on the directors of the organization, as well as any changes to the articles of association and will receive regular and informative mailings with details of fundraising and distribution activities.
“In addition, members will be invited to participate in our annual giving presentations, which take place each March, as well as fun activities at our fundraising events.
Annual memberships range in price from $100 (Friends of the Foundation) to $1,000 (Flynn Society Members of the Foundation). Patrons can make a one-time contribution or become a supporting member by contributing monthly in membership tiers. A full list of membership levels and their respective benefits is available at Fountainhillsgives.com/membership.
This year, the Foundation plans to distribute more than $50,000 to local non-profit organizations. Foundation members will be invited to meet the 2022 laureates and attend the annual meeting, scheduled for March 23.
Since 1995, the Fountain Hills Community Foundation has given more than $1.3 million to various nonprofit educational, cultural, and humanitarian organizations in Fountain Hills and surrounding communities. Their endowment funds are held by the Arizona Community Foundation, a family of more than 1,300 charitable funds created by individuals, families, businesses, and organizations throughout Arizona.
