In recent years, the advent of affordable consumer 4K and HDR on smart TVs and other devices has transformed the home viewing experience. UHD TVs are joined by increasingly sophisticated immersive audio soundbars and enhanced surround virtualization headphones, headphones and mobile devices, leading to a dramatic resurgence in surround listening.

With home Covid viewers spending more time in front of their upgraded devices, content distributors have responded with a flood of first-run movies and premium episodes. Audio has been at the forefront as more premium content is available in immersive Dolby Atmos surround, and streaming services and MVPDS adopt next-generation audio customization and accessibility features.

The creators and distributors of live and linear content in sports television are at a crossroads. Can they become competitive providers of premium viewing and listening experiences to compare with Apple, Disney +, Netflix, HBO, etc., or are they just providing basic content at a lower quality level? For many, the solution to this challenge lies in integrating new technologies and radically reinventing workflows for greater efficiency while fully integrating high-end audio and video production standards.

Join DTVAG as it explores the latest challenges and opportunities in professional audio. Discover the full agenda below:
