REASI, January 4: The Reasi district administration today organized “Youth Echo”, a youth engagement program here as part of Mission Youth.
Dozens of young people from all Panchayat level youth clubs participated in the event which witnessed a mega cultural program and a range of other activities.
Members of the youth clubs have shown their talents by performing skits, dance articles, chants, mimicry, Rangoli making, karate demonstrations and resentment of other instrumental performances.
District Development Commissioner Charandeep Singh, who was the guest of honor on the occasion, opened the program by lighting the traditional lamp.
ADDC Jyoti Rani, PO ICDS Renu Kumari, ACD Reasi Dr Anirudh Rai and other district officers were also present.
Young high achievers, including those who have excelled in their business, profession, sports, film industry, performance and other arts, have also been encouraged by the district administration. Other young people made thematic presentations after covering topics: Har Gaon Haryali, Berozgari se rozgari, sanitation and drug addiction.
Later, a youth interaction session was also held with the DDC in which they described the possibilities and scope of their areas of job creation for the local population. They also requested the intervention of the district administration to identify areas where it is possible to earn a living.
The DDC said that young people need inspiration, encouragement, guidance and ownership to examine the entrepreneurship space and therefore it is very crucial and relevant to have such encounters. , cultural panoramas and outreach programs to bridge the gap, where appropriate.
The DDC also said that the district administration was planning more innovative programs in the future after incorporating suggestions from local youth and urged participants to take this opportunity to nurture their talent and make a difference in society. He further emphasized to them to stay away from drugs and intoxication.
