A program that aims to stimulate youth activities in the Jacksonville area is looking for proposals for the coming year.

The Jacksonville Youth Engagement Program was formed in 2020 by a group of community agencies who saw the need for more youth programs. Thanks to a grant from the Tracy Family Foundation, the program was able to fund nine activities this year.

Funding requests for the second year must be submitted by February 1. Programs should focus on mental and physical development through recreation, sport and mentoring. Agencies can request up to $ 5,000.
