New Danville Youth Organization Installs Leaders | Local News

DANVILLE—Danville and Vermilion County have had a new youth organization for three years: DeMolay.

DeMolay is a youth organization for young men ages 12-21 where they have fun, learn leadership skills, and enjoy camaraderie and brotherhood.

On Sunday, May 15, LL Lockard Chapter Order of DeMolay, located at the Masonic Center at 109 W. North St., Danville, held its installation of officers. The elected and installed officers were Christopher Morse, Senior Counselor (Chair), Spencer W., Senior Counselor (Vice President), Aidan P., Junior Counselor (Associate Vice President). The installation was made and assisted by members and friends from across the state of Illinois. Alexander Sturgis, a Rockford native and current Illinois State Senior Advisor, said, “Congratulations to Christopher and his officers, we hope you have a successful tenure.”

LL Lockard Chapter is a local DeMolay unit with members from Vermilion and surrounding counties. The Lockard Chapter began in 2019 and holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Sundays of the month along with a variety of other events. More information can be found on his website at
