Outreach Program on “Youth Engagement and Awareness Program” Held in Kulgam – India Education | Latest Education News | World Education News

KULGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today launched the one-day youth engagement and outreach program under the Mission Youth Initiative in Government High School, Behibagh, here.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC urged unemployed young people in the district to come forward and apply for benefits under various Mission Youth ambitious self-employment schemes.

The DC said the purpose of carrying out the program is to create awareness and motivate unemployed youths in the district to benefit from various government job creation schemes.

He called on the youths to become job providers rather than job seekers by setting up their own self-employment generating units under various government job creation schemes.

He urged them to use their energy to light up their future.

During the one-day program, Department of Employment Resource Persons Peerzada Aijaz and Rayees Iqbal disseminated information to participants regarding Mission Youth J&K programs.

In addition, resource persons from other operational departments also presented the sensitization regarding their respective self-employment programs.

Registration desks have been established by all operational departments where hundreds of participants have registered for benefits under various self-employment schemes.

Attending the occasion were AD-Employment Kulgam, Block Development Officer, Behibagh, resource persons from all operational departments, youth club members and PRI.
