Prime Minister calls on PTI MPs to step up their engagement with the people

Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked all elected officials of the PTI to strengthen their engagement with the population to sensitize them on the various government initiatives for socio-economic development.

He spoke with Minister of Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi and different National Assembly members from Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal and on reserved seats for women, with whom he held separate meetings in Islamabad today. today.

The Prime Minister also asked them to sensitize the population that the government is fully aware of their plight. He said the government is taking all possible measures to protect the people from the negative effects of import inflation due to the historic rise in commodity prices in international markets.

Imran Khan said the pro-people measures include a reduction of Rs 10 per liter of petrol and diesel and a reduction of Rs 5 per unit in electricity prices.

In addition, 100% tax allowances for IT companies and freelancers, 100% foreign exchange holdings and investments in IT startups to promote information technology in the country and create vast employment opportunities For the young.

Additionally, under the Kamyab Pakistan scheme, over the next two years, Rs 407 billion will be distributed to businesses.

Under the Ehsas scheme, the monthly allowance was increased from Rs 12,000 to Rs 14,000 while Rs 38 billion was allocated for 2.6 million scholarships.
