IMM’s project to reduce foreign reliance on IT, IMM Technology Workshops, the new quarterly training continues at full speed. In 8 workshops, a total of 1,320 students follow courses in which the basics of technological production are laid, from game design to coding, from artificial intelligence to robotics. Students who will receive advanced technological training will represent IMM in international competitions.
Student selection exams were held for the 2022-2023 academic year on September 24-25 for IMM Technology Workshops, operating in cooperation with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and Boğaziçi University. 5 students who passed the exam held with the participation of 700,000 1.320 students were given the right to participate in the 8-month training. After the announcement of the exam results on teklonojiatolyeleri.ibb.istanbul, the training started on October 22. CODING, PROGRAMMING, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE…
As part of the workshops led every weekend by 48 instructors, training on non-computer activities, the design and development of computer games, graphic design and production are provided to 4th and 5th year students. The training of 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th graders is organized in the fields of programming and coding, mobile application development, graphic design, artificial intelligence, robotic applications and project development.
PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
1,355 students who participated in workshops last year IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu graduated in a ceremony with the participation of . The Directorate of Youth and Sports of IMM has started working on the creation of a special team with the participation of 40 students to be determined among the graduates. After the creation of the team, the students will be included in advanced technological training. Students will be able to represent İBB by participating in international and national technology competitions with the projects they will produce.
