Westport Writers’ Workshop Announces Patricia Dunn as New Executive Director

Westport Writers Workshop announced today that it has appointed a writer and instructor, Patricia Dunn, as the new CEO, starting May 23, 2022! Pat replaces Liz Matthews who held the position for three years.

According to the Westport Writers’ Workshop, Pat previously served as senior director of the Institute of Writing at Sarah Lawrence College, where she holds a master’s degree in creative writing. She is also co-founder of The Publish and Promote Your Book Conference and The Joe Papaleo Writers Workshop in Cetera, Italy. Pat is the author of the novel Last Stop on the 6 (Bordighera Press), the young adult novel Rebels by Accident (Sourcebooks Fire) and the upcoming thriller How I Killed Your Mother. Pat has been teaching Advanced Fiction and Speed ​​Writing Retreats with us for a year.
