Youth engagement worker and school project worker

Jewish Women’s Aid is the only charity in the UK to work with Jewish women and their children who are victims of domestic and sexual violence. We operate customer support services, helplines and online chat, children’s services, and education and awareness programs.

We are currently recruiting for two new positions (28-35 hours) within our teaching team. We are looking for enthusiastic and creative people who want to inspire young people and who can lead conversations on sensitive topics such as healthy relationships, consent and sexual violence. Our ideal candidates will have a solid background in teaching or youth work and will share our vision to establish a culture of consent for all young people in the Jewish community. The following roles are available:

  • Youth Engagement Worker, £ 23-25,000 per FTE reach out to young people within the Jewish community, by designing and delivering high quality programs, with an emphasis on informal environments
  • School Project Officer, £ 23-25,000 per year FTE: to support our vital work in schools, offering high quality programs as well as supporting the administration of the education department

These positions will be based at our head office in London and may involve travel across the UK. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these positions will also involve remote work.
